“do-it-yourself”! patchwork Christmas ornaments tutorial by Deepp!!

Today is dedicated to “do-it-yourself” : we'll make beautiful  patchwork Christmas ornaments!!
The first “design for a better life” tutorial!!

Of course, should you have any problem,  we can mail you a “Xmas kit” with all the necessary materials; anyway, pay attention to the instructions and follow them step by step!!

What you need: polystyrene balls, strips of Xmas cloth, colored ribbons, long and short pins, decorative beads.

1_ With a soft meter measure the  circumference and  divide it into 8 or 6 parts .
2_ Draw lines from the two poles to the  points you have marked on the circumference.

3_ With a cutter, carve (or cut?)the  lines you have drawn and cut the fabric in 8 x  5 or 6 cm rectangles depending on the size of your ball.
4_ With a steel nail file or with a teaspoon handle insert the fabric edge into the furrows?? produced by the  cut.

5_ Cut the excess fabric and insert the remaining fabric into the out lines.
6_ Do the same with all the segments  alternating the fabrics.

7_Take the ribbon, the pins, the beads and a pair of scissors.
8_ Give the finishing touch  by outlining the seams of fabric with the ribbons, starting from the poles, and fixing it with the short pins.

9_ Make a bow with the ribbon and create  a bigger loop to hang the ball. Fix it with a long pin.
10_ Put the ribbon also along the  circumference and finish with beads, fixed by means of pins.

11_ Enjoy yourselves adding  beads as you like!

Now the ornaments to decorate your tree are ready

Absolutely unique !!!!
Stay tuned
